I am embarrassed to admit that I am a creature of popular will. Earlier, I posted a short vid of a snake eating a rabbit. For its part it was tasteful and brief. Even so, I vowed not to repeat such a posting.
Then I was inundated by email asking me – begging me – to post more vids of snakes eating live prey.
It was a lot of email.
So here you go! Another vid of a snake eating. This is a python eating a rabbit.

Bob – That wasn’t repulsive, it was uplifting! That snake showed the “can-do” attitude that made Australia what it is today! Sure, it failed to swallow that baby kangaroo, but a snakes ambition should exceed its jaw capacity, or what’s a heaven for, eh? Yes, that python failed, but it failed in spectacular fashion – and it failed at what amounts to a heroic act. For a snake.

In all seriousness, these snake-eating-live-prey vids produce huge traffic – more than I used to get on my best days at JS. It really is perplexing.
