EVEN MORE PROOF THAT MITT ROMNEY SHOULDN’T BE OUR NEXT PRESIDENT

This is real.

.

.

Here is exactly what Romney said:

.

When you have a fire in an aircraft, there’s no place to go, exactly, there’s no — and you can’t find any oxygen from outside the aircraft to get in the aircraft, because the windows don’t open. I don’t know why they don’t do that. It’s a real problem. So it’s very dangerous.

.

This man – who doesn’t know that, if you open a window on an airplane, you and everyone in the aircraft will die – is very likely going to be the next president of the United States.

.

“I know there is a airplane around here somewhere….”

.

“Hey, look at that! All the people look like ants!”

  1. This is his best cunning plan to get people to stop talking about his 47% speech.

  2. He likes to feel the wind in his hair. What’s wrong with that? You a socialist or something?

I’ve got an idea. Let’s club together, and BUY him an airplane with windows that wind down. That would show our appreciation, don’t you think?

(Before you agree… remember that this suggestion comes from a man who posted a bag of pretzels to George W Bush.)

  4. If he becomes Prez he’ll order modifications to Airforce One so he can buzz the windows up and down. Its all starting to get a bit Homer Simpson.
“Window goes up, window goes down…”
    Paul Ryan becomes next prez.

  5. May I suggest we provide him with a window breaker for his next flight, I suggest that we aren’t on that flight.

  6. Payne Stewart could have used that. Just saying.

  7. Let me get this straight – does he want to open the plane windows so the air can blow out the fire? Or is it so he can escape from the fire? Personally, I think he really wants to open the window so he can shoot at any passing albatrosses. (Don’t call him Ishmael. Or Moby. Dick, however….)

  8. I think he wants to open the window to get fresh air. He goes on about the oxygen outside that cannot be accessed because the windows don’t open.

I honestly don’t think this man is as stupid as he sounds and seems. I think he doesn’t want to be president. Sure, it sounded cool, but the closer he gets to the prize, the less he wants it. The closer he gets, the more he understands that being elected President of the United States at this moment in history is the very worst thing that can happen to anyone. He wants out, and is saying “crazy” things to sway just enough votes to lose.

  10. You know, there is a chance he was just joking.

  11. You think? I sure as hell didn’t read it that way and I don’t own enough tinned food, firearms or defendable land to mess around with jokes on this subject!

  12. Sibeen – I thought the same thing, and waited for him to clarify, which he has been quick to do in the past when he said something he intended as a joke but was misconstrued. No one connected with the Romney campaign has attempted to clarify the comment.

Even Madonna said “hey, I was only joking” after the press reported her endorsement of “our first Muslim president.”

You realize, of course, that I don’t want him elected – but not because I favor Obama. This seppo political season is no longer about this pending election, but the one after that.
